In the evening of Thursday (September 28), the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health reported on dengue, among the 9 people who died, 3 people from the capital Dhaka, 6 people outside Dhaka.
The circular also informed that out of 2 thousand 357 people admitted to the hospital, 672 people are in Dhaka and 1 thousand 686 people are outside Dhaka. With this, the number of infected people in the country this year has increased to 1 lakh 99 thousand 188 people.
Currently, a total of 9,797 dengue patients are receiving treatment in the hospital. Among them, 3 thousand 457 people in public and private hospitals in Dhaka and 6 thousand 304 people in hospitals outside Dhaka. And a total of 1 lakh 88 thousand 424 people returned home after treatment.
A total of 281 people died of dengue in 2022. 27 people died of dengue in the last month of that year, December. At the same time, 62 thousand 382 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue in the year under discussion.
