BPL playoffs: Which team won?

The play-off lineup has been confirmed in BPL. Dhaka, Chittagong, BPL returned to Dhaka again. Then Sylhet turned around and came to Dhaka as if the circle was full. And that was the line-up of the playoffs of the eighth edition of BPL. The ministerial group Dhaka has been disappointed after failing to make it to the play-offs despite arranging a team with three of the five famous women.

Chittagong turned back against the wall and confirmed the play-off. Fortune Barisal and Comilla Victorians, the top two teams in the points table, will face each other in the first qualifier on February 14. Earlier, Chittagong Challengers and Khulna Tigers will compete in the eliminator.
This is called star fall. Mahmudullah Riyadh, Tamim Iqbal and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza – all three of the Panchpandabs, their ministerial group Dhaka is fifth in the eight-team tournament. The day before, there was an equation in front of Dhaka, which is in the top three of the table – winning the last match of the league will ensure the play-off. But, the star-studded team could not do that. They could not get out even if the equation was broken. But even Tamim, who has scored the most runs in the tournament so far, could not match Dhaka’s easy equation. Except for Tamim and Riyadh, everyone in Dhaka failed with the bat. Even the foreign recruits could not get fired. Big star Andre Russell has left halfway through the tournament. Tamim’s great performance is the comfort of Dhaka. Tamim has scored 406 runs in 9 matches at an average of 57.14 and a strike rate of 132.56. Will Jacques of Chittagong scored 398 runs in one match more than him in the run list

Chittagong Challengers has thrown Minister Dhaka. The BPL play-off is like a train leaving the station. And the Challengers are the passengers running behind that train. After a lot of grazing, they pushed the crowd and finally won the challenge. The team that gave birth to many controversies in the tournament has shown a unique example of coming back. The Challengers had a good start in Dhaka. But, in the Chittagong episode, there was an obstacle. On the issue of Miraj’s captaincy, the erratic team lost 3 out of 4 matches in Chattala. Many people saw their departure from the meeting.

In the end, the youth-dependent team turned out well. After winning the last 3 matches, he took place in the top four. In the last two matches, Chattala’s team fought hard under the leadership of Afif. Will Jacques, the team’s foreign recruit, was the biggest batting hope of the youth team. He has bowled at a strike rate of 44.22 and 152 in 10 matches. He is behind Tamim with 396 runs. Youngsters like Afif and Shamim accompanied him with the bat. Another foreigner, Benny Howell, also performed his duties.
The young bowlers of Chittagong, Mrityunjay and Shariful are going to get something good in the future Bangladesh team.
The Khulna Tigers had no problem getting tickets for the play-offs in the last match even though they had to wait a long time. However, Mushfiqur Rahim’s team may be worried about the continuity. After winning one match from the beginning, the Tigers lost the next. Chittagong Challengers of Afif-Miraj-Shariful, the play-off opponents of Khulna Tigers, who finished the league season as the fourth team with 10 points in 10 matches. Khulna batsmen are not consistent with bat even if they get run with bat. Khulna can do something good in the play-off if Fletcher, Mushfiqur and Yasir are on fire. Sri Lankan recruit Thisara Perera has taken 13 wickets in 10 matches.

There was no drama about the top two positions on the table. There are two of the most consistent teams in the event. Topper Fortune Barisal with 6 wins and 15 points in 10 matches. Led by Shakib Al Hasan, who is in batting and ball-flying form, they can see the trophy most clearly. No one in the world has been able to do what Shakib has done so far in the tournament. Man of the match in five consecutive matches Shakib is undoubtedly the man of the tournament in this BPL. Shakib has scored 28 runs at an average of 34.50 with the bat showing great all-round skill. He took 15 wickets in 9 matches.

However, the infamous Munim Shariar has given a surprise for Barisal. Team captain Shakib says, Munim Shariar is the best invention of this BPL. This marquee batter can be a solution for the Bangladesh team which is worried about the opening pair.

The biggest concern of Barisal team is with Comilla Victorians. Du Plessis-Moin Alira are 13th in the table with 13 points after winning 6 out of 10 matches. They will face Fortune Barisal in the first qualifier on Valentine’s Day. Victorians coach Salauddin or mentor Steve Rhodes will not want to show his love for his dear student Shakib on the field that day.

Among the local stars in the play-off, one has to keep an eye on Mahmudul Hasan Joy of Comilla. Comilla’s batsman has made a splash in his debut BPL.
