A CNG-powered auto-rickshaw was stopped with great difficulty, but the driver drove Banglamotor from Malibag for a fare of Tk 300. In this condition, he got wet in the rain for half an hour and reached the Banglamotor office with a rickshaw for Tk 150.
The people of different parts of the country, including the capital city, are suffering due to the continuous rains of the last few days. Incessant rain has caused waterlogging in various areas in the capital. The picture is almost the same in different regions of the country.

It has been found out in various areas of the capital, including Jatrabari, Old Dhaka, Farmgate, Dhanmondi, Mohammadpur, Mohakhali, Banani, Mirpur, that due to ongoing rains, waterlogging has occurred on various roads in these areas. There is a traffic problem in various alleys. All in all the suffering is extreme.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Office has predicted rain in all parts of the country. Out of this, heavy to very heavy rainfall has been predicted in 3 categories.
According to the Meteorological Office, the low pressure created in the Bay of Bengal is located in central and nearby areas of Bangladesh. Besides, Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.
In this situation, there may be heavy (44-88 mm) to very heavy (89 mm or more) rainfall in Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions till 12 noon on Saturday (October 7).
Meanwhile, according to another notification of the Meteorological Office, there may be rain or thundershowers across the country on Saturday and Sunday. However, in the extended 5-day weather forecast, the rainfall trend may decrease.
At this time, the weather office said that the temperature will rise slightly across the country.
