‘Philippe Coutinho was born for EPL’

Brazilian forward Philippe Coutinho scored in his debut match on his way to Aston Villa from Barcelona. Villa were able to draw 2-2 with Cristiano Ronaldo against Manchester United on Saturday (January 15) with his goal assist. After such a great debut, football fans are saying about Coutinho, he was born only for the Premier League.

Coutinho salutes people on social media after the draw against Manchester United. Many believe that he will regain the fame he gained for Liverpool in the English Premier League before moving to Barcelona. Football fans are blaming the poor management of the Catalan club for his failure at Bar্সa.

Coutinho left Barcelona on 8 January this year to join Aston Villa. Aston Villa’s current coach is Steven Gerrard, who was Coutinho’s teammate at Liverpool for two years. Gerard played a key role in bringing Coutinho to Aston Villa. The words of the one-time Brazilian sensational star melted.

Kautinhor’s debut has been great, maybe no one doubts about that. But it remains to be seen how much Coutinho can do justice to the name by getting a former teammate as a coach.

Philippe Coutinho has been having a bad time since moving to Barcelona. In four seasons, he has played in only 108 matches for the club. German giants Bayern Munich have had to play one season at a time. But in the Russia World Cup, Coutinho was the main man of Brazil.

While at Liverpool, he also became an icon for others as he scored from outside the box. Discussions were also under way that Coutinho was leaving his club when he was being neglected in Barcelona.

Coutinho has previously played for Vasco da Gama, Inter Milan, Espanyol and Liverpool. He played 43 matches at Vasco da Gama from 2009 to 2010 and scored five goals. Although the number of goals is less, in other performances, he drew the attention of the big clubs in Europe. He moved to Inter Milan before the 2010-11 season. He played 48 matches in three seasons at Inter Milan. In between, he went to play for Spanish club Espanyol.
