The list of players for the 2022 edition auction has been released on Saturday (January 22). Like last time, this time too the maximum base price is Rs 2 crore. Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman are in the auction at the highest base price. There are a total of 9 names of Bangladeshis in the auction list.
The IPL auction will be held in Bangalore on February 12 and 13 next month. A total of 1,214 cricketers have registered for the mega event. Of these, 698 are Indians and 316 are foreigners. After Shakib Al Hasan left his team KKR and Mostafiz left Rajasthan, these two Tiger cricketers also went up for auction. A total of 216 cricketers will be selected from the auction.
