The Meteorological Department has said that the intensity of winter will increase

In the last three-four days, the feeling of winter has been found, but the cold wave has left again. There is no cold wave anywhere in the country except Panchagarh. However, there is a mild winter after dusk. Moderate fog from midnight to morning. Meteorologists also said that winter is not increasing at present.

On Saturday (December 25), the temperature was not below 10 degrees Celsius anywhere except in the northern upazila of Tentulia. On Saturday morning, the lowest temperature in the country was 7.8 degrees Celsius in Tentulia. The minimum temperature in Dhaka is 15.4 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that the temperature will drop again in most parts of the country in the next few days. This will not return the cold, but will increase the feeling of winter. Clouds and dense fog in the sky can gradually increase.

Meteorologist Abdul Mannan told the media that the sun is getting less during the day due to the clouds coming from the Bay of Bengal. As a result, the difference between day and night temperature has decreased and the feeling of winter has remained. Although now the winter is much less. However, in the coming days, the winter in the northern part of the country will gradually increase. At this time, the meteorologists think that the temperature and winter of the capital may be almost the same.

The weather will be dry across the country with temporary partial clouds in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Saturday. From midnight to morning moderate to heavy fog may fall in the river basin and adjoining areas of the country and light to moderate type of fog will fall elsewhere in the country.

During this time, day and night temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged and the weather may remain roughly the same for the next three days.

According to the meteorological department, the extension of the sub-continental high pressure zone is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal light pressure is prevailing in South Bay of Bengal.

The highest temperature in the country on Friday was 26.8 degrees Celsius in Teknaf. There was no rain anywhere in the country from 9 am on Friday to 9 am on Saturday.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 a.m. on Thursday (December 23) said the weather across the country could remain mainly dry. Light to moderate fog can fall anywhere in the country from midnight to morning.

The lowest temperature recorded in the country on Thursday was 7.6 degrees Celsius in Tentulia of Rangpur division. The minimum temperature recorded in Dhaka today was 15.1 degrees Celsius.
