The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) started with the showbiz stars of the country. And the ‘Celebrity Cricket League’ which was closed due to the unpleasant incident is starting again.
According to a press release, the Celebrity Cricket League has been temporarily suspended due to an unforeseen incident on September 29. After discussing with the captains of the eight teams, the organizers have decided that the remaining games of the season will be held between October 15 and 20.
Apart from this, the organizer GNext has already taken legal action against those who caused chaos as per the prevailing laws of the country. For the sake of investigation, it is not being revealed at the moment how many people have been registered in a police station.
According to the organizers, eight captains were called. This decision was made after discussing the matter for about two hours. The remaining matches of the tournament will be organized on any day between October 15 and October 20.
Earlier on September 29, there was extreme tension on the field during the game between Mustafa Kamal Raj and Dipankar Dipan’s team. This heat also spread between the teammates of the two teams outside the field. After that, the two sides started fighting. At around 11:30 pm, the second round of fighting started. Then the game was suspended.
Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2023 begins at Mirpur Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium. Entertainment stars and artists are divided into eight groups. 18 male and female stars participated in each team. These teams are led by Giyas Uddin Salim, Salahuddin Lovelu, Shihab Shaheen, Chayanika Chowdhury, Dipankar Dipan, Sakal Ahmed, Mostafa Kamal Raj and Raihan Rafi. The Celebrity Cricket League was temporarily suspended on September 29 due to an undesired circumcision.
