The ‘final’ decision on the educational institution is on Sunday

Education Minister Dipu Moni said she was meeting with the National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19 on Sunday (January 9th) to take a decision on the educational institution as corona infection is on the rise again in the country. He said a decision would be taken at a meeting to be held at the Ministry of Education after reviewing the overall situation in Corona.

The education minister made the remarks in response to a question from reporters after a program in the capital on Saturday (January 8).

Asked about the government’s views on keeping educational institutions open in the context of Omicron growth, the education minister told reporters, “Today (Saturday) we have a discussion among ourselves in our ministry.” The Ministry of Education has scheduled a meeting with the National Technical Committee on Covid-19 tomorrow (Sunday). The decision will be taken after reviewing the overall situation.

“We had an idea that the infection would increase in March,” he said. But now it has started growing in early January. So that plan will need some coordination. But we do not want to close educational institutions. Instead, we want every student to come to the educational institution with the corona vaccine. That too is being arranged. It may be a little difficult for those who are under 12 years old. We will also decide on those issues.

Dipu Moni said, after a year and a half, everyone has a deficit. Arrangements are being made to meet that. The biggest way to fill the gap is to have more students in the classroom. But the way many people are not paying attention to the health rules, if the corona infection increases, the loss of education will be the most. So everyone should follow the hygiene rules keeping in mind the future of the child. For this now everyone has to be alert and conscious. Because, again, corona infection is increasing.
