Students of Comilla colleges affiliated to the National University have warned of a tough movement if all the exams postponed by the National University are not taken.
The students made the announcement at a human chain organized at Kandirpar in Comilla on Tuesday (January 25) at 10 am.
Comilla Victoria College students Faisal Ahmed and Mehedi Hasan led students from Comilla Victoria College, Comilla Government College, Comilla Government Women’s College and other colleges in Comilla.
The students announced that if the routine of the postponed examinations of the National University is not given within the next 30 days, then a strong movement will be called by blocking the Dhaka-Chittagong highway.
Meanwhile, the students also said that the second year examination on January 29 has been postponed. Also 3 examinations of the fourth year have been postponed. Which is completely unreasonable. Because everything works in the country except educational institutions. We want to be tested according to the hygiene rules. Otherwise, he will keep the lockdown for 15 months by talking about 15 days lockdown. And we will become brothers at all. We don’t want that. We, the students of Comilla, are united. We will block the Dhaka-Chittagong highway if a new routine for our exams is not published by January 30. You can’t stop when our movement starts. Arrange for testing according to our demands. Otherwise students will go on the field.
Victoria College students Abu Sufian, Shamsul Haque, Ishita, Nipa, Abdullah, Salauddin Shihab were present; Government college students Raihan, Nishat, Jeevan Majumder, Rimon and Ashraf and many others including Abanita and Rafia of Mahila College.
